Durarara Deconstruction #1: Ikebukuro Isn't the Setting. It's the Villain.

1.1 The City That Doesn't Care About You Before we talk about Celty's missing head, Izaya's chess games, or Shizuo's vending machine habit — We need to talk about Ikebukuro. Not as a backdrop. Not as a stage where all the drama conveniently unfolds.
